Thank You Arlington!

Dear Friends and Supporters,

I am honored that Arlingtonians today have elected me to the County Board. Out of five candidates, I received 18,0786 votes and came in second about 1% behind my running mate, Walter Tejada. The full results can be found on the Arlington County Voter Registrar web site.

I am grateful for the confidence Arlington voters have expressed in me and will do everything I can to meet their high expectations. I am excited about the important work of the County Board and look forward to working with the other Board members, the talented Arlington County staff and citizens throughout the County.

Throughout the campaign, at every opportunity I noted that we are smarter together, good ideas can come from anyone, and we'll have better results if we get the process right. I hope over the coming months and years, you'll share your ideas and views with me and let me know how you would like to be involved. I look forward to putting my best effort forward and working with you to make Arlington as fine a place to live, work, and play as it can be while retaining its essential small town character.
